Fitness Friday

Last week I posted about getting back on track with the weight loss - well a big part of that is getting my body moving.

I recently got a fitbit & thought I'd share how I got on in the land of steps.

10,000 Steps Per Day

As you can see - I'm not quite achieving the goal of 10,000.  Honestly I thought it would be easy but it's harder than you think!  But I definitely improving - my steps are way up compared to last few weeks.  Friday & Monday the days I hit over 10,000 were the days I went to the gym, but I also went on Wednesday & worked pretty hard but not quite good enough :(
I'm hoping next weeks graph will be even better!

What's the scores on the leader board

What did happen this week was that I made it to my highest position yet on the leader board! I was number 5 for a while!!

Weekly Weigh In

I didn't have time to post my update during the week so this week I've combined it to keep me up to date.

Basically it was a loss!! -3lbs & I am thoroughly pleased.  I felt very much back on track!

Fitness Plans for the week

I've joined up to Eat. Drink and Be Skinny 30day Full Body Fitness Challenge  I've printed off my tracker & got started on yesterday & plan to do it for whole of May.  Took my pictures & measurements so let's see what I can achieve in a month.

It's something I can incorporate quite easily into my day.  I can only go to gym after work if Mr B home to look after Bailey or if I'm off so even if I can't make a session I've no excuses for not doing sit ups or press ups.  We'll see how it goes - plus they say it takes 21 days to become a habit - I may just be a fitness enthusiast at the end of May :)

I've also signed up to walk the Queen's Commonwealth Baton Relay  - well kind of!  It's this app World Walking.  You join up & can map your walks, looks for walks to do or join in a virtual walk.  You can use GPS or track your steps & input & you get loads of info on checkpoints along your walk.

There is even a walk of New York & Washington DC so I will have to do them from UK so I feel like I know the neighbourhood when we get there in December.  Check it out - it's free & motivating.

Are you feeling fit?

Have you set yourself any challenges?
