Weigh In Wednesday Bee Happy & Healthy

I am going to document my weight loss journey with a Weekly Weigh in on a Wednesday (yes, I am a big fan of alliteration!)

I've lost a little over the past few months but I am using this part of the blog to stay accountable, saying your doing something out loud definitely gives it a little more strength.  This will be a wee round up of the week & plans to keep the momentum going.

WEEK 1 - The Start

This week I have been pretty good with my food choices but my activity has been a bit under par, in fact more like non existent - so I'll take that -2 and bank it as a victory!

This describes my relationship with exercise - I've convinced myself I am not a sporty person.  When I do do something active I have that voice in my head saying you've done enough, you can't go on, your tired, you need to rest, basically my mind will do anything to get me to give up.  I have recognised it - so I can work on it, right?

Yes, I will!  This week I will try convince my mind I can do this.

Just a wee quicky post this week, mainly cos it's nearly Thursday :)

Anyone else on a weekly weigh in? Any tips for getting my mind on board with exercise?

  1. Great job! You CAN do this. And as far as exercise goes, you just have to find a program or activity that you like and then it will a fun thing to do. It's just the finding one you like that's a challenge sometimes!

  2. Yay, another weight loss wednesday lover! Will be logging on her every week now to see how you are getting on :)

    As for exercise, I have found making myself get out with the dog has really helped me, that and buying a fitbit which spurs me on to get more walking done as I want to hit targets. Good luck xx

    1. Yeah a weigh in buddy! I am also loggin on to see your weight loss wednesday. I do love your fitbit stats, I had a nike fuel band but it died last year but you don't get as much detail as a fitbit maybe I'll add it to my wish list. My doggy also helps gets my activity up - maybe need to find some longer routes try your 5 mile walks!
